I arrived starving at the Sony Centre after a visit to the Kunstgewerbemuseum nearby. I looked around for a place to have some lunch, and decided that I'd give Corroboree a try. I ordered a cold beer, in an Aussie inspired restaurant, what else does one do? Furthermore, I thought I'd give their fish & chips a try. Wise move.... More

Me and other 3 friends had an awful experience at this restaurant. Overall, the staff was very disrespectful and laughed at our faces all the time. The menu has nothing to do with Australian food and the "Aussie steak" wasn't even "rumpsteak" beside that it was cold and without taste. I recommend you to never eat at this restaurant.

A great choice if you are around for the movies in The Sony Center, Potsdamer Berlin. A lively atmosphere bot in and outside the restaurant is so fun to watch. Definetely, you will enjoy the quality of food as well.

This seemed the most modern restaurant at Sony Center, we entered by coincidence. Very good view on the Sony Center, very relaxed staff (in a good way, not in a slow way), good food (we had a cangaroo salad and a burger), very good dessert (I don't exactly remember what it was, something with chocolate). We ate at a table... More

Here for breakfast. Long wait for food. Watery coffee. Poor white bread and really average bacon and eggs. Service was quick but unfortunately unengaged. Would deem this as a typical tourist trap. No passion.

The worst food we have had in Germany to date. I sent my scrambled eggs back, they were cold and disgusting. My wife had boiled eggs that were full of water. Forget the cappuccino, there was no discernible taste of coffee even though I ordered a double shot.

The nicest thing they did for us was to saying they would split a burger meal into 2 for the 2 kids that were with us - they don't really have childrens meals. So they did serve the 2 kids half a burger, each to their own specification, which worked well. My friend and I both ordered the steak pie... More

Not that fancy , not that tasty, a bit expensive but the location is great. I think there are better places for a cocktail in Berlin.

Service was friendly and fast! Food was okay. Might try this again, but we will see. I'm not sure what I expected from an Australian restaurant.

Should have walked straight past this place knowing Australia doesn't really have a cuisine in the first place. The waiter,Jason, was friendly enough. But the food was shocking. We ordered for starters,a coleslaw salad and "exotic tomato soup". What arrived was literally a plate of coleslaw and what appeared to be Heinz tomato soup with a bit of green in... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
