Great service, special place, owesome food and a place to chill in Mitte. We ordered starters and had than tajine. The meat was melting in the mouth, unique taste of the spices.

My favourite Moroccan. Now the have expanded into the garden. So a great out door space for summer, with sun and shade. Food still great and healthy.

The vegetable tagine was good but the chicken tagine was amazing. Terrific flavours. Lovely mint tea too.

Kasbah serves authentic Moroccan food. We had soup, tajines, lamb and the chicken pastilla. And mint tea of course. All of it tasted so good, especially the pastilla! The staff were friendly, they offered rose water to rinse our hands before the meal, extra bread was served when we ran out. Everything is freshly made. It may be a bit... More

We thought Kasbah was great! We discovered it when our first choice of restaurant was closed - we then walked past Kasbah and the interior looked warm and welcoming. Food and service were great, our meals were full of flavour, and it was good value. We were pleased we stumbled across it!

We had a very enjoyable diner here. 7 of us shared starters and I had a great bowl of soup. We had several different tanjins and all lives the taste and fresness. Please was recommended by a Berlin collegaue and am thankful for the advise for this piece of North Afrika in the middle of Berlin

I'd never had Moroccan food but I'm glad I did! The restaurant we were planning on going to was full so we picked this one as we were walking by. The food was delicious, the rose water hand bath was lovely. My husband had the lamb and prune dish and I had the beef tagine. We had the pastry dessert... More

After a week in Berlin and going to every restaurant that wasn't that good. Finaly a restaurant that prepared the food correctly and well cooked. I started with a Harira wich was seasoned real good. After that came the Lamb couscous wich was great with fresh vegtables and tender lamb. The only disappointing thing was that they were out of... More

I have walked past this restaurant on my way to other haunts about a zillion times, always convinced that it looked "folkloristic", which usually equates to so so dining. Well, it is cheaper to go here than fly to Morocco. Although, having been to Morocco, I would say that you might eat slightly better when you get there. The appetizers... More

The food tasted amazing, Moroccan food is my favourite so it was nice. The staff were very shy though and the restaurant has been shut for weeks over the summer so every time we go to book we can't.

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
