This is very good value for money. The food was excellent and plenty of it. The waiting staff were very friendly and service was efficient. It is a sports bar so if you are not a fan it may not be the place for you.

Sadly wish I had read the reviews before we went. We were seated but it took 15 minutes before a waitress came to take our order. It was another 50 minutes before our starter arrived!!! I was in the verge of leaving but my husband persuaded me to stay. Wish we had left. Sadly the food like the service is... More

The service at this restaurant is horrible. When we first walked in, we stood next to what looked like a hostess table for eons before an employee finally came over and said we could seat ourselves. We then waited forever to order. My young son wanted a Bratwurst and fries. I made clear he wanted just a plain Brat. The... More

There are times when you have sampled fine cuisine and meals from different locales, but you have a craving for something basic that reminds you of home without resorting to a McDonalds or Pizza Hut experience. For those moments I highly recommend Andy's Diner (there are a couple in Berlin) for fresh food, interestingly prepared, at good prices.

If you like American Diner Style food this is the place to go. Lovely Waitress who was only too happy to speak English and eager to help.

had a meal here during a recent visit to Berlin. The plate of ribs was huge! Cocktails were not too expensive and generally its decent place to go for good service and decent quality food.

I considered this a dinner of death. I was wondering why the burger prices were so much more reasonable than another burger place we tried and it's because they kill the cows twice. Not only that but when we paid with credit card the server tried to give himself a small tip by overcharging us. I also wanted a vodka... More

We visited here on our last night in Berlin - we wished we had visited earlier Great atmosphere- a helpful and polite waiter - warning - huge portions- my starter of Nachos would have been sufficient for three - but to be fair our waiter did warn us 😄 Would recommend and return

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
