Amazing with reasonable prices! It is a very nice place to rest for a while before a full day in Berlim. They offer good options of brunch and breakfast.

We always come here on weekends for their warm buffet, our friends love it too. The selection is broad and the scrambled eggs are perfect every time. Try the pudding selection if you can!

As someone who holds brunch as the most important meal of the day Cafe Butter is probably my favourite eatery in the world. My fiancé and I were only in Berlin for a few days but ended up going here twice. Amazing, fresh food and amazingly well priced. Can't really beat it. I know Berlin is famous for is great... More

This is my favorite brunch place, it is amazing! Pancakes, waffles, fruit salad, scrambled eggs, salads, great coffee and a big choice of teas and juices, fresh cakes....I have eaten there so many times with many friends and family and it has always been great. The only problem is, that I am not the only one thinking that so it... More

We went to get a breakfast in the surrounding and this place completely amazed us. It did not look like a fancy place, nor had a big sign from outside. Located in a quiet area, but having a great potential with tasty and huge breakfast. I will come back!

Go to this cafe for weekend brunch, the bread and food selections are great. Prices are cheap for all they have to offer. Drink (coffee, juice) not included in brunch special.

Staying in Prenzlauer Berg

Neighbourhood Profile
Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighbourhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays, thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.
