We used to order from or pick up from Nanoosh all the time. We loved the chicken hummus. The quality was always great which is why in a previous review I gave them 5 points but then one time we went it the hummus was watery, the chicken was hard it seemed days old, the pita bread was completely different... Very bad and unprofessional service usually. Some of the waiters can be rude and so slow. Maybe there are too many people to serve? Well I guess the need to hire more personnel. Also the first couple of times I went on here the food was good but it got worse now; even the tomato soup which I loved at... More

This is a small and non pretentious restaurant. The service was not great, as a single waitress had to manage the cashier and serve all the tables when I was there. However, the food was great! We had great salad, hummus, etc, really tasty and at very decent prices. Great value.

We went there for lunch, ordered quinoa salad and hummus platter. Both tasty with whole wheat pita. Home organic lemonade goes perfectly with it.

Small, friendly place, nice relaxed atmosphere. Stumbled across it after a day of sight-seeing & very pleased we did. The homemade hummus & pitta were very good, loved the chilli & herb sauces & our healthy salads very fresh & generous. Excellent wine & fast service too. Would definitely recommend.

Thank Jane F

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
