I visited restaurant for a lunch and it was very tasty. Staff was fast (even too fast since I did not figure out what are all options).

The concept of Hamy Sophie is the same as Hamy Hasenheide so I'll refer you to that other review. :) As the food choice & quality is the same as the other Hamy restaurant, naturally this restaurant is also in my top10. So make your choice dependant on your actual location!

Small, simple and very popular Vietnamese restaurant. The decor is simple, wooden benches and tables, service is quick and friendly. I come here every few weeks, usually takeout, for the dish of the day. There are always two options to choose from, cost around 5-7 EUR, both with a vegetarian option (tofu instead of the meat). The dishes so far... More

Stayed in Berlin for a week but found myself going back time and time again for this amazing food. So cheap, 5.50 euro for a main meal. Great pho, chicken curries, duck stir fry. Amazing. Traditional Vietnamese at amazing prices. Fast service. Could not recommend any more!! Fabulous.

I visited this restaurant at least five times during my stay - I was working at the Deutsche Opera - an easy 5 minute walk away. Had the curry of the day each time and was never disappointed. Mango lasse also great. Fresh ingredients and friendly staff. A real gem.

Unbelievably cheap and excellent food, best Vietnamese dishes, I am vegetarian, and by far I can affirm that this the most tasty tofu ever. So much flavors, I had the tofu curry with coconut, the soup is also good, a bit spicy but so delicious. This place is always packed and small m,so you have to wait for your turn,... More

The food is so good! Goes fast, drinks are very tasty as well; they offer asian beer. Fast, Great quality, normal sized portions and very cheap. Perfect! 5€ for one of the three main courses (varies per day) put up on the black board inside the restaurant. For a drink another ~2€, meaning you've eaten for under 10€ including the... More

If you are looking for a pragmatic place that offers excellent vietnamese food at a good price, this is the place to be. Essentially, it is a fast food place - if that literally refers to food quickly served - but it has the charme of a proper restaurant. Staff is friendly and forthcoming. Maybe a bit more variety would... More

Went there searching for a decent lunch in Charlottenburg. Apparently they have two dishes to chose from. Both sounded and looked great. I went for a beef dish which was excellent. Fresh, crispy veggies, beef cooked just right and noodles and a sauce with it that was just delicious. All served within minutes, so "fast food" in the best sense.... More

I have only good memories about this one. Place was a bit stuffed but we managed to find a table. They had excellent quality vietnamese beer and great meal. I had one of the soups (dont remember the name) and it was full of great vegetables I'd never eaten before, great taste, a bit spicy but not too much, warming... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
