We had lunch here during a mini break to Berlin. We are not normally ones to linger but this place has such a great atmosphere we did! The food was excellent, the bread basket to die for and the service friendly to a fault. The wine was perfect and the hands on owner was dressed in a personalised Dortmund football... More

The food the atmosphere, the people visiting but most of all the charming and extremely friendly staff. If I had an Italian family, thus would be it. Wonderful

This restaurant is by far the best Italian place in Berlin. I love the pizza and the pasta so much that we have been dining here two of three days. The staf are really friendly and service minded. It's like you take a step into Italy when you open the door.

This restaurant is opposite our hotel so had to give it go and so happy we did. We didn't make a reservation. Happy, friendly and lively staff. Family run business. Great atmosphere. Lovely decor. The lasagne was delicious, fully loaded with beef. Pizzas were top notch too. Definitely recommend.

Had diner with my daughter. Didn't have reservations, but we were there just before evening rush, so we got in. The kitchen is real, authentic and fresh Italian cuisine. The pizza was cooked perfectly in the stone oven. Will most certainly come back on my next visit to Berlin.

We really had a blast with the fun service, but I could imagine this would not be the place for peace and privacy. The starter plate with bruscetta, melon and mozzarella was delicious and the drinks were good! We all had pasta and we were really happy with the experience in a whole!

Between the four of us we had pasta and pizza - all of which was absolutely delicious. The Pizzas in particular were beautiful. Their wine was lovely and they made top class Cube Libres. The staff were very friendly (it is ran by an Italian family).

We were here this week, place was packed and we got the last free table. True italian feeling: people talking loud, some singing and everyone looked happy! I had Pollo Gorgonzola that was very nice (with potatoes, carrots etc), house wine was good as well. My son ate Pasta Carbonara which he liked. Service was fast enough. Enjoyable place!

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
