We visited one Saturday evening in January - it was freezing outside and this was the perfect warming dinner we had in mind. The restaurant was full and we were very surprised to be sat down immediately. It's always a good sign when a place is full. The decor and atmosphere were perfect. Having recently just travelled to Japan and... More

It was worth every minute of waiting, the restaurant is so authentic, cozy and the waitresses and chefs are so friendly and nice!!! The Ramen was AWESOME!!! We had to wait for 40min but it was worth every minute, the 40min past by so fast as I got already excited when I saw the cozy Restaurant full of steam coming... More

And I sure am glad I went. I normally only write hotel reviews when I travel, but after eating dinner here, I just had to reconfirm all the other reviews. This is a very small ramenbar and I arrived around 1830 and the place was full. I did get a seat at the bar itself which seats about 10. There... More

There is a reason why people love Ramen, and in this place they do know how to make it. The place is small so you might need to wait but it is worth it.

My friend and I waited a good 40 mins before we got in, which was expected because I've heard of the notorious lines. The restaurant itself is very small and cosy. The food is delicious, I ordered the wantan soup and the broth was flavoursome as was the wantons. They were filled with prawns and it was quality. My friend... More

Super cute place, the waitresses were very helpful, nice and quick. Food's coming out fast, you can see it being cooked as the kitchen is open - right in front of the eaters. Loved it. The restaurant is very small but very comfy, we had the best ramen in ages! Very reasonable prices. You have to have the green tea... More

What can I say... green tea mousse was awesome, gyōza 10/10 but wonton was like I am in heaven. I was so happy when I was eating it. 300KM just for the best ramen in this part of Europe.

I definitely recommend this place! If you're visiting Berlin in winter, you have to eat a delicious hot Ramen with a cup of lemon tea! And the price is really low, about 12-15E per person.

This place is beautifully designed, and has a nice atmosphere. The service was good and the dishes arrived fast. Eachceramic bowl is uniquely designed which is beautiful. We've had one soup with pork belly and egg, and another with shrimp wontons. The broth was good, the noodles were great, but the wonton filling tasted wrong - it had a bit... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
