For low quality microwave food prices are far more than expensive. We had pasta and steak with potato salat. Both meals were bellow average.

The is a nice place to have a seat away from the crowds. Food is very good, I had a salami sandwich which was excellent. Cakes and drinks also very good and prices are decent for an airport. There is also a Leysieffer on Friedrichstraße which I wasn't impressed by.

Well, the beer was good. I don't expect too much of a "restaurant" on an airport, but this experience made me whish not to have gone there. I am positive the reasons i had an uneasy stomach in the evening was the food I got at the airport. The wiener schnitzel tasted like rubber, the cold potato salad was ok,... More

Quit depressing airport for a capital like Berlin. Not much alternatives to have diner and this is only decent priced restaurant. Food was okay, however staff could be more proactive. Not acceptable to wait for 5 min at the cashier to place your order.

Magic place filled with heavenly chocolate truffles, pralines and bars, all kinds of Baumkuchen, German take on spit cake, gingerbread pastries and cookies and other delectable sweets you can dream about. Unbelievable, overwhelming indulgence, delicious handmade products, pure joy.

Nice little place to while away an hour as we are a bit early for our flight. Please keep Tegel airport open as it is very handy for travelling into the centre of Berlin.

Quite a strange little airport with the majority of shops and bars landside instead of, as we have in say Heathrow or Gatwick, airside. The departure gate did not open until a short time before boarding and there were very limited facilities airside anyway. We flew with BA who used gate A6 at the time. There is a small bar/cafe... Finally I found the appfelstruddel I had scoured Berlin looking for. I couldn’t find this anywhere I lamented to the very German blonde in the cake shop and café. Do people not eat it any more. Of course they do she said. I had seen versions with short crust and layered apple like a torte, and minus the sultanas and... More

Ok for a coffee and bite whilst waiting for a flight. Food is overpriced. Good selection of freshly baked rolls. Only serves continental breakfasts foods.
