We had spent the morning sightseeing and were on your way back to the hotel. We had not yet had brats and saw the sign, This place was a plaza adjacent to the do not miss visit we had just made at the aforementioned church. So we had brats, fries, and beer. While we were eating the bells of the... More

It was extremely hot when I came across this outdoor restaurant at the bottom Of a fountain. I sat outdoors under an umbrella and relaxed listening to the sounds of the water. I enjoyed a full plate of caprese , bread and white wine. The tomatoes were fresh and tasty. They also offer a multitude of ice cream delights for... More

We were forced to pay for something that we didn't ordered. The waiter was aggressive and threatened us. The waiter said the we couldn't leave until we paid everything. We don't recommend to anyone this restaurant especially to the tourists.

Near the zoo and lots of site seeing spots this place is situated right next to the fountain outside the Europa shopping centre and always seemed to busy when we passed. As such my daughter who is an avid fan of Italian food (well spaghetti with tomato sauce) begged me to take her here. The service was brisk and friendly,... More

This is one of these place which is visited by tourists because of its location near a main sight seeing spot and staff is not interested in providing a good service because people typically don't come back and the next bus load will definitely arrive again. We just had ice coffees and ice cream which wasn't too bad but service... More

Having just finished a walking tour of the city we stopped off for some beer and of course some Brat Wurst. They were some of the best we have had whilst in Germany. Good service and cheap.

Average pizza and hot banana peppers were no where near spicy or hot and the spicy salami was just salami. Atmosphere was great sitting outside on a sunny day. Service was good.

Upon our visit to Berlin we were looking for a nice place for lunch and ended up in La Fontana. it was a sunny nice day in April and we had lunch outside. The service was quick and the food was good. The prices are reasonible so you may find this place attractive.

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
