Ate here for three nights. Were made very welcome. Good house wine at reasonable price. The chef's sauces are really wonderful, full of flavour. Good for vegetarians and meat eaters. Regional dishes, italian favourites and pizzas.

Went to this restaurant on sunday night as it was open and close to my hotel. The staff is very friendly. I had a soup and a steak. It was ok but not great.

We enjoyed a very pleasant regional meal at the restaurant which was close to our Hotel. The food was good and the prices were very reasonable. The quality of food and service was good. Worth a visit.

Staying across the road, we walked over to this restaurant. A good sign is when its full of customers every night we dined here for several nights, First impression the restaurant was 70+% full, next a check of the menu found responsibly priced & some appetising choice on offer. We ate here for 3 nights, each night it appeared to... More

Visited this gem when on holidays recently. We stumbled across it by accident of course as you do with these restaurants and I'm so glad we did. The food is absolutely top class. The service and the guys in it are very efficient, lovely guys who let you enjoy your meal and if you want anything there more than happy... More

Staying in Kreuzberg

Neighbourhood Profile
Kreuzberg
Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central neighbourhood is beginning a new chapter. In the 1950s and '60s, Turkish guest workers settled around Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and '90s, rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a carefree life here. An old hospital even became a hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today you can still find the best kebabs in town and many underground clubs, but a lot has changed as well. The hospital has been transformed into an art center, and increasingly you will find new urban cafés, restaurants and designer shops. Rising housing prices and gentrification threaten the spirit of this area along the Spree River, but the neighbourhood’s legacy is upheld by a very engaged community fighting to preserve its rebellious identity.
