It the base restaurant of Alden's hotel; the other is a star restaurant. Food is ok, nothing special and prices are average

I am sorry, but I did not care for the food or the ambience of this restaurant. Two visits. Maybe I was unlucky.

We ate in Oscars while staying at Andels hotel - delicious food and fantastic staff. The staff were so professional and attentive, yet made us feel like old friends. The food was first class, and was served very quickly. Great, thanks :)

A large platter of antipasto provided a good start to the meal at Oscar's, well dressed and delicious. The experience was rather let down by a tough and somewhat flabby Wienerschnitzel however - disappointing.

I ate here while staying at the hotel. It is a very nice Mediterranean style restaurant with full bar service. Open from 11am until 11pm & is reasonably priced. It has a view onto the street. You can also take drinks on small side walk patio.

I ate dinner here since it is the only decent place to eat in the area and the meal was very good. Rather small with few seats though.

My husband and I got into Berlin late this afternoon and I was starving. I didn't hold out much hope of getting any vegan food at our hotel's restaurant but I decided to pop in and ask. The waiter promptly asked the chef and came back with two options hat both sounded great. After filling up on the ample bread... More

Their are two very good restaurants in the Landel.s Hotel in Berlin, however the Skykitchen is booked weeks in advance, but I think you may find Oscar's a suitable alternative. We started with the Vitello Tonnato...it was better than what I normally get in Italy. My wife had the canneloni Bolognese, and she ate every bit (she normally will only... More

We could have easily eaten here all 5 nights of our stay but restricted it to just 2. Food was reasonable and if a very high standard. First night staff were great and supplied tap water without a problem but on second night different staff were a little more remote, ignored this request and brought bottled water. Not sure what... Staying in Prenzlauer Berg

Neighbourhood Profile
Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighbourhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays, thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.
