Pancakes are thick and fluffy. Great music choice with 90's metal, grunge and indie featuring heavily. Their service can be very slow when busy but their fresh hot crunchy rolls with lashings of butter are so good.

Spiegeleier here are not just fried eggs, but a culinary delight for lunch/brunch.Served with both salad and a selection of fruit as well as a choice of feta cheese, mushrooms or ham. Also great German style pancakes and a good choice of beers and draught San Miguel.

Was in Berlin for two days and ate here both days! The food was amazing and I loved both the fried eggs and pancakes. The pancakes are different then what we have in the States but I almost like these better! I would recommend to anyone and if I ever come back I'll be sure to stop by there here... More

I so did not want to make this post as I wanted to keep it a secret! I hope the Beaker crew will be awesome and still hold me a spot on Sunday's! This place rocks for brunch! American style pancakes are amazing and I always get my eggs with everything and it is heaven!!!! Love this place!

Absolutely great brunch and Coffee. Freshly made and tastes really good. The service was fairly fast and the waiter friendly and super helpfull. Beware - portions are rather large, but they do make doggy bags.

They serve brunch until 4pm, which is very handy for Berlin weekends! I always get the scrambled eggs, which come with salad, fruit and warm rolls. Sometimes the service can be a little slow, but at least the staff are friendly (which for Germany is often not a given!) I've been here several times and had only one forgotten coffee!... More

One of the best breakfast I have had. The service is really polite and fast. I will be in Berlin for a week and I have been there twice already. The food is exquisite, with a lot of different options to choose. I like the way you order, marking some options in a menu. The place is really cosy, even... More

You can have breakfast till 4 pm which I find great after a white night. We had scrambled eggs (a small salad and a warm bun were included) and shared pancakes (fruits were included) and was perfect. With coffee and orange juice: 30 euros. The service was also personalized: first we've ordered pancakes each and the cook came and asked... More

Staying in Prenzlauer Berg

Neighbourhood Profile
Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighbourhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays, thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.
