We went a bit out of our way to visit this place after searching travel blogs for places I could eat glutenfree. It's only a 5 minute walk from the nearest train station but its tucked away in a neighbourhood that you wouldn't naturally come across. Cheap and cheerful, staff friendly and laid back, I would agree with another review... More

Had a very bad experience here. Waited and waited for a menu, finally had to go get one. Took forever to have our order taken, had to go get a waiter. When our food finally arrived it was burnt, very hard, and had no sauce on it. Had to go get the waiter to get the check as well. I... More

So we found this little restaurant in Berlin after reading a Google review. 7 minutes' walk from Yorckstrasse station, you wouldn't think such an out-of-the-way neighbourhood would house such a gem! Friendly service and a nice quiet place, we felt so happy we could've easily stayed all evening there. As it was, we ordered a pizza each and a bottle... More

Really lovely restaurant with gluten free options. Had a good selection of pizzas and the people spoke very good English. Although it was more challenging to get to. A really enjoyable lunch

Ignore everyone who does not say this place is a 5! I went for dinner with my sister with gluten and lactose intolerance. She had a buckwheat base pizza and they have lactose free cheese that doesn't taste like yuck! I had a pizza too and they were both gorgeous. It's a little outside the centre, but easily accessible by... More

I had a gluten free pizza, and the earth didn't move. I've had much better gluten free pizza, I've had much worse gluten free pizza. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was pretty good. Important to note that a peperoni pizza is a pizza with chilli peppers on it!

The restaurant is really small and out of the way from the city but it's so worth the trip! Right after sitting down I showed them my celiac travel card and the waitress immediately explained in english what I could eat and reassured me that it was all prepared separately with no cross contamination. My friend ordered a normal margherita... More

Great staff and atmosphere, something we didn't expect as we crossed the bridge over the train tracks on the otherside of the road... very surprising and cute little restaurant. My sister and I suffer from coeliac disease, so we required some special food, all of which was provided. The food went down well, and this was probably the best meal... More

What a horrible third experience. I used to consider the Cielo di Berlino as a place where a good and simple food would be served under the beautiful sky of the Monumentenbrücke, in my neighborhood. I also used to consider that the people working there would have a sense of what running a restaurant means: keeping it cool and working... More

Neighbourhood Profile
In 1963, Schöneberg was the centre of the political west, inspiring John F. Kennedy to choose this area to famously announce, "Ich bin ein Berliner." Times may have changed, but modern-day Schöneberg still pays tribute to its historical legacies. Once the richest city outside of Berlin proper, the area's affluent past is still visible in ornate housing facades dating back to the Gründerzeit of the 19th century, while residents in fur coats walking their dogs or shopping in high-end KaDeWe continue the tradition with a modern flair. Schöneberg was also once the centre of the decadent and burlesque nightlife of the 1920s. It was here that Marlene Dietrich partied with Christopher Isherwood and the first gay bar in Germany was founded. Today, the gay community still revolves around Nollendorfplatz. The overground Ubahn station is even illuminated in rainbow colors, paying tribute to Schöneberg's progressive past.
