The place was a bit of a let down. The tapa dishes were rather expensive. And it wasn't even a particularly good tapas. It is alright considering we were in Berlin. But it wasn't as good as the real Spanish tapas are. It was too expansive for what we got. We will not be back.

Good authentic spanish food, friendly service, just a little pricey for us but we will go again for sure.

Excellent dishes, friendly service and good vibes. The food is great and the have Hierbas - yay! They also have a cafe next door for breakfast or dinner. We also had a nice breakfast there.

We ate good tapas and enjoyed our evening before we got the lamb liver served. The dish was not edible, and it smelled really, really bad. But the rest of the food was excellent.

The two owners of la tienda del toro give you the feeling to be at home. I always let them choose the wine for me and it is usually a fine choice. We enjoy to sit in front of the store and nibble tapas and let the evening go by. Super friendly and warm people. Spain in berlin. An excelent... More

Staying in Friedrichshain

Neighbourhood Profile
Friedrichshain
When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may find a bar with international crowds, electronic music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other, an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit buildings and live alternative music. No matter your taste, the best way to end a night out in Friedrichshain is sitting by the Spree River at the East side gallery, the longest and best preserved piece of the Berlin Wall, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Oberbaum Bridge.
