The potato soup was good, but the tomato soup was much better. The chili con carne special was decent as well but the star was the Glühwein. Decent prices as well for the central area.

Enjoyed the food and a nice place to eat lunch or dinner. Service is friendly and prices are good. The pasta and salad are good with generous servings. Great setting by the river just a short walk from the train.

We love the Ampelmann, so wanted to try the restaurant. Our kids loved the food and the service was great. We wished it wasn't pouring rain, as we would have loved to sit outside in the chairs facing the river.

We had a late afternoon lunch with kids sitting on the Amperlmanm deck chairs and listening to a street musician preforming, a great way to chill by the Museum Island. The restaurant serves pizza, currywurst ( typical Berlin sausage dish with ketchup and curry powder)....More

The AMPELMANN Restaurant is located in Berlin Mitte (in the S-Bahn arches at Hackescher Markt).Located directly on the Spree you can take a relaxing break from the hustle and bustle and you can taste creative Berliner cuisine and international favorites here. Of course, there are also vegetarian and vegan dishes. At the AMPELMANN beach bar you can relax on comfortable deckchairs, with a delicious cocktail or a refreshing beer and enjoy the Berlin summer to the fullest with the unique view of the Spree and the Museum Island. Every day from 10 -12 a.m. we offer you delicious breakfast variations. The Ampelmännchen is one of the few things that survived the fall of the Wall in 1989. Meanwhile, the Ampelmann has become a Berlin ambassador. This was assured by the company AMPELMANN. In addition to the AMPELMANN Restaurant there is a café and six shops, where every visitor will find a piece of Berlin to take home with.
