Our food was tasty (although certainly not authentic Thai) and the portions were admittedly generous. But incredibly surly service, extremely slow to both take and deliver your order, and the fact that the waiters seem content to chat amongst themselves rather than serve people that they can see are waiting, mean that I would certainly avoid this place in future.... We passed by that restaurant and thought of giving it a try. Food didn't taste good, and service is not nice at all. They were rude and not helpful in making choices for our orders. Prices are not cheap also.

This ia good place to have a Thai curry. It's a modern and fairly big restaurant. One good thing is that the menu provided all the information regarding allergens, which we needed because of gluten-free requirements. Most of the food is actually gluten-free, so it's a great place. Even though I'm no Thai cousine lover, the curry I had was... More

The title says it all- the food was nice but the service was really slow. It took a long time for a waiter to take our order, but even worse, it took nearly decades for us to get our bill. We asked two different people and eventually received it. Good place if you have a lot of time!

We ate dinner here and it was a very good choice. Large portions so you won't be hungry for a while. Spicy 🌶 if you want and gentle if so decided. Cozy atmosphere with friendly and talented staff. Anytime back again❗

We had to wait a wile to be seated, Friday night with no reservation. Service was good, menu had short English explanation for each dish. food was nice-worth the wait, and reasonably priced too.

Went for dinner as down the road from the Hotel we were staying at. The menu although slightly limited was good, and really enjoyed the food. Was tasty and a huge portion that we didn't need to even eat starters and went straight to mains.

After a week of pork and carbs, we thought we'd go light our last evening in Berlin -- however, a stop here was kind of a mistake. I got pad Thai, and my wife got a simple salad, and both were goo'ed down with tons of gummy dressing, as if it had been dispensed from an industrial drum. The integrity... More

Horribel service!!! Tried to forces us to pay for starters, on a order that did not go thru since they did not have anything to offer one in our group that was allergic to fish. Every of their dish contents traces of fish, this we did not know, and the meny did not inform us eather. The waiter and the... More

"cha cha" is a Thai expression that means something like "all will be well", "no stress" or "slowly slowly". For us, the name symbolizes a time out from today's stressful city life. Based on the century-old Thai cuisine, our chefs have developed modern dishes with a "wellness effect". Every dish offered in our "cha cha - Thai Street Kitchen" restaurants serves two purposes: on the one hand, it aims to be tasty and please the palate, on the other hand, the menu also offers choices that address the guest's current bodily needs. For example, he or she can choose among invigorating, cleansing, stabilizing or wholesome dishes.

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
