This cafe is located just next to the metro station Weinmeisterstraße, in the overly area of Mitte. This cafe had a great atmosphere and was filled with customers. The staff spoke English as well as German and Italian so communication was easy. I did not eat there but the food looked delicious. The sweet cake I had was nothing less.... More

It is an ideal (and famous) place for tis food and deserts. Dont expect to eat lke a traditional restaurant. Offers italian delicacies made in front of you with axceptional quality materials. Ideal for a small break when hanging around at the area.

The best breakfast we had all holiday- a real feast of bread, cheese, ham, scrambled eggs, bacon and fruit for only €6 each. Coffee was also very nice. Would highly recommend.

Great little cafe and coffee shop in the fashionable area of Berlin. Close to hackersmacht station. Tasty breakfasts with lots of options to choose from. A great selection of herbal teas, normals teas and coffees. Staff speak English and are very friendly. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the city.

We were in Berlin for 7 days and I went to Kaffee Mitte 3 times. First time was just for coffee in the evening and twice for breakfast. The scrambeled eggs are delicious. The serving portions are also excellent. This is a great place for anything!

Had a great stop for coffee and some snacks. Right next to Ubahn stop Weinmeisterstr. in a good shopping area in Berlin. Popular place for locals and tourists. The drinks and snack all tasted good - service from staff ok. Indoor and outdoor seating. NB; cash only!

I came here to do some work on my laptop, and it's probably not the best spot, as they hardly one spot inside to charge your laptop, but the pasta I've ordered was amazing (Papardele bolognese), at a decent price for mitte, and massive portion. Staff are also nice! Cons: they didnt accept cards, and had to pack my laptop,... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
