Wandered down to this restaurant without pre booking and were lucky they could squeeze us in. Tightly packed and very noisy atmosphere so more of a social place than quiet romantic meal out. Service was excellent with waitresses very polite and helpful and every dish we ordered was amazing. Wish I had this restaurant local to me in the UK!... More

We were looking for a good restaurant ad we found one ! The concept is cool, you order some bowls, as many as you want, with different flavours. Everything is freshly made, and the service is fast. However, when it's crowdy (ie. all the time), the place is very noisy. But that's the only drawback.

I've been there lots of time: always a pleasure. Their great tapas are simply awesome, typical Asian best tastes. And the prices are very good, I always have 3 kind of tapas (3€ each) a bowl of rice (1€) and tiger beer (3,5). Bill under 15 euro guarantee, 20 if u eat A LOT. Ah, the Reservation is important, the... More

So great and tasty food!! Staff is very hectic and busy, so the service is quick and if you have a big group your dishes is getting mixed.

Very interesting restaurant with good food and not expensive. You should booking, because of the large crowds. The only remark is that the restaurant is too dark.

Great concept: thai viet tapas, which are delicious and affordable. A plate costs 3€ and you need about three for a full meal. Few years back service used to be rude but this had changed in a positive way!

Transit is Asian Tapas, reasonably priced and positively delicious. 3 dishes and a side of rice is plenty of food and they have excellent seasonal drinks.

Everything about this place is amazing: the friendly staff, the food, drinks and atmosphere. Everything on the menu can be made with tofu so great for veggies as well as meat eaters!

Great food - quickly served, and delicious, plenty of choices and simple tapas style small dishes allowed for a range of tastes at one sitting......however, the restaurant is trying to seat too many people, we were on a table for 2 but there were 3 of us, so as well as being on uncomfortable stools, the table was too small... We got to our hotel late in the afternoon. We were hungry and didn't have any idea where to eat. We walked down the street from our hotel (Circus) and found this place that served Chinese tapas (?). We had 2 beers and seven small tasty plates for 31 euros and left full and content. The service was friendly and... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
