Me & my travel buddy had an incredible meal at Yogi. Super authentic and tasty Indian food, and very, very reasonable prices. Big selection. DEFINITELY vegan & vegetarian friendly :) Service was also amazing- the guy there was so so kind, gave us recommendations, very attentive, etc. The whole experience was a pleasant one. Will definitely revisit next time I'm... More

I came here with my good friend towards the end of our trip to Berlin. We ordered two curries, a naan and rice - the food was absolutely delicious and sooooo full of flavour. The atmosphere felt very relaxing, beautiful decor. It truly stands out as one of the best Indian meals I've had and even better to have during... More

Had the kebab, it came with a fantastic curry and broiled veggies, hot enough so that it was spicy, but manageable for a Western palate. Very satisfying and actually very wholesome, when you think of the ingredients.

Service is very average, not very friendly. Food is ok, but we have tried much better Indian food. Not worst to go, im sure there are much better Indian restaurants in Berlin.

A nice guy , dressed like a Sikh walks around ,but the only thing the Indian food has done is lie NEXT to real tandori etc. When you ask : "" have a tandori oven "" and they say YES , you expect them to have it, don´t you ? And maybe they do : a dusty one, never used... More

I took my mother to this restaurant 2 days ago! And believe me!! That was the worst Indian food experience we ever had! Resturant hygiene was horrible! They had one toilet room for men/women which was so dirty! Even the seat and the table was awful as they didn't even bother to wipe the table after the previous customer! The... More

We were 4 persons. Two of us has been there before, and we love it, then. The restaurant is warm and clean. The personal was polite but not were you needed them to be. The portions are big. I shared one with my husband, and that was enough. Our friends ordered a meal for to persons, and we could have... More

We were lured into this restaurant with a attractive lunch offer at EUR 6-7. The food is ok, but the bill is amazing. We asked for 1 still water, got 2 glasses of water without a bottle, so it could have been tap water, and were billed for EUR 2.50 per glass. We couldn't even check if it was from... More

However the place doesn't make justice to the food quality. It needs a little of re-decoration but the food is incredible good. Forget about the "made for the English" Indian food taste, here you can find for a good value original Indian taste.

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
