My first night in Berlin and I was taken to the Marjan Grill by my friends. They wished me to taste typical German food. I had Kassal Kamm - a "pensioner" portion, the pensioners must have mighty appetites! This was delicious, also it was the first time I tried Saurkraut, which I did enjoy. We had to book as the... They offer a great variety of plates, but if you want a truly German plate of food, order the Gypsy Plate! This includes a weiner and a skewer of pork and roasted onion, as well as rice and chips. Every bite was perfectly warm and satisfying, and the portioning was really generous for the prices asked. The server did not... More

Nothing special, & although we didn't expect it to be having stopped for a drink the previous night we did expect better. We were put in a back room that was empty other than one other table despite there being a good atmosphere in the main restaurant but plenty of free tables. Service was reasonable for Berlin to start with... More

Wonderful! Food was great and waitress so gentle and available, despite we did our best to complicate her job. Pretty nice location, but you would never find without a good advise. I warmly recommend to go

We found here by chance. Interior is quite big and there is also a garden. Staff is very friendly, service is fast and food is delicious. Price is ok, not very cheap but the food is worth the price. Overall we were very happy!

Marjan Grill is located underneath the S-Bahn bridge and is a very dark, yet cosy Croatian Restaurant. You should definitely book a table before coming, as this is a very busy Restaurant. We ordered the Cordon Bleu, Small Potpurri Plate and the Pola Pola Plate. The Schnitzel was huuuuge! The two other dishes were also filled with a lot of... More

We tried to book but the boss -grumpy -was not at all helpful. We turned up anyway, waited a while and had an excellent meal, very good value, with friendly and efficient service. The menu choice was wide and the food extremely good with very generous portions It's a good sign that it's packed with locals and that's why it's... More

Very cosy place near S-Bahn station. Looks like small, but there are several rooms. Wonderful meats to eat with German beers. You can feel all the best form Croatian's cuisine with very good, affordable prices. Friendly service could help with every thing so the experience was wonderful.

Neighbourhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
