Charming atmosphere, great service and amazing food. Pizzas were really big and delicious. Due to its central location in Berlin Mitte we had dinner just after visiting the main tourism attractions in the city centre. We loved it.

The pizza was great, but no more special than any other pizza place I have eaten at. What is great here though is the venue, with the beautiful ceilings and cosy atmosphere. prices are reasonable too and you can take-away any pizza you don't manage to eat on the night (which is likely as they are huge!) Our only critisism... More

At the beginning of our visit, we thought that this was a really bad restaurant. When we ordered ehite wine by the glass, it camr fairly warm and when we asked to put it into the fridge to make it cold, the waiter went away and got us some ice cubes. Which decend person would put ice cubes into wine?... More

The place is lovely, always crowded, though a bit too noisy. Service is highly professional and the atmosphere is very friendly. I tried only pizzas and I must say it was delicious and extremely big. We ordered margarita with extra mushroom and pizza with spicy pepperoni (obviously they had special names that I don't remember :D ) and they were... More

discovered this restaurant when strolling around Berlin City Center. We didn't have a reservation and there was no fuss made. From the street, the restaurant does not reveal it's interior marvels. Inside was bustling with large room after room of low arched hand painted ceilings. We had the antipasta platter for starters and it was massive! The mains then arrived,... More

Rucola killed my pizza. The restaurant is like a busy bie. Or to be more precise like a never ending food factory. Our pizzas where delivered within 10 minutes after we ordered. All machine work, routine no tender care tender or loving for the pizza. My pizza was flooded with rucola, nor am I a rabbit or a vegan. Good... More

We found this place on TripAdvisor. After spending a very wet day walking around Berlin, we wanted somewhere fairly close to our hotel as we were tired. This Italian is down a long side street which looks a bit less mainstream. We arrived here at around 6.15 and were seated immediately. The restaurant is huge so there were no issues.... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
