Really cute little French Bistro/Café with a good breakfast Menu. We had a Classic breakfast and an additional omelet between the two of us and it was plenty. Everything was fresh and tasty. Together with two Café au Lait's we spent a bit under 25 euros. We will for sure go back someday for dinner as well.

The restaurant is in the Prenzlauerberg area, nicely decorated and they have a great pianist who plays jazzy tunes. But.. the food is just average, nothing special and if you're looking for high quality french cuisine, i wouldn't recommend it. It's not bad neither, but maybe my expectations were a bit too high?

We had a lovely evening at Poulette's. Wonderful food, attentive and funny service. Everything was in balance. Whenever in Berlin, longing for French food, go to Poulette. You will not be disappointed!

Excellent food and wine and friendly service. Nice atmosphere. Price of the special lunch is very democratic.

This is a lovely French bistro with an atmosphere that draws you in and doesn't let go. We were there on a Friday night. The place was busy both indoors and outside. The food was excellant. Our server was very friendly and attentive. The clientele was mixed with both couples and families enjoying their evenings. We especially enjoyed the music... More

A friend invited us for dinner at this restaurant, and it might well be one of the best discoveries we've made recently. First of all - the service was excellent, if not the best I've had in Berlin, definitely in the top three. Our waitress was friendly, helpful, funny, and everybody at the table talked about how fun she made... More

We stayed just around the block and stopped in to make a reservation for dinner - which IS necessary. We had 2 courses, first a quail salad and a liver terrine, very tasty. Then we both had the monkfish special, perfectly cooked with a foam topping, fresh asparagus and really beautiful to look at. Service can be a touch slow,... More

We were on the Outlook for a nice restaurant with good food for a trip with 6 couples in march 2016. First impression was, that it was a very nice place, and that we were able to pay with our credit Card, if we bought for more than 100 EUR. OK, we thought, this is a nice place, and 3... More

Staying in Prenzlauer Berg

Neighbourhood Profile
Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighbourhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays, thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.
