Traditional German food with a modern twist. Very well presented and well cooked. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Good wine list - we tried local wines and were not disappointed.

We arrived and sat outside - pleasant enough. Though they hadn't cleared tables, we put the stuff on another table. The waitress took my order - smoked sausage with sauerkraut. Not only the Germans like this fare. My wife likes it so much, that in the season, which is not too long, she can eat it every day, if it is good preperad. And this was the case in this restaurant. They made a very good and tasty asparagus.

Because it was May that I visited Wurzburg, I ate boiled white asparagus with small pork steaks. It's not steaks with asparagus. White asparagus is the star food during its short season. Another night I had fried asparagus. (See my photos) I thoroughly enjoyed spargel.
