We had a very and friendly service. The quality of food and surroundings have been very good. But if you are not carefully enough they rip you off. They have asked if you want to your main course of aspargus a Schnitzel or local sausages without mentioning its charged separetely. Then at the end you found 20 Euros more then... More

Yes this is a hospital OR was once a Hospital. This restaurant is housed in what once was a home for the poor, the aged and the sick. The restaurant is one of the best in Augsberg serving typical Bavarian cuisine and local wines from their own vineyards. We were staying across the street at Wurzburger Hof and they recommended... We just had to eat at a hospital while we were on vacation! This charming place had excellent wine, food, and service. The waiter had English menus but they did not have the specials listed. He was happy to translate and describe the specials and help us on everything. The food was delicious, having the wine soup, wild boar sausage,... More

Their wine is terrific. Food very good and the wait staff helpful. The interior is large but can feel cozy. Recommended!

The Weinstuben Juliusspital in the hospital founded by a bishop about 500 years ago to take care of the poor and everyone else who needed hospital care. However, the bishop made sure the buildings were magnificent too, not just functional. The restaurant serves great traditional food in an atmospheric place and it is not expensive. They also serve, of course,... More

If you want a cozy typical restaurant which depicts the local flair well, this is the place for you. The portions are healthy and the wait staff very friendly. The decor is typical of the area. Make sure to have a' sylvaner' glass of white wine. Made in the region and is simply delicious. Would have liked to go there... More

I wanted to try Frankish wine and I wanted good quality food. I got both in a lovely historic setting. You can order wine by the (very big) glass - maybe one glass between two people if you want to try a few different varieties without falling over... I had an outstanding pumpkin soup - a dish that's usual OK... More

We were very tired and this place was right across from our hotel. They were very nice and accommodating. We requested potato salad instead of fries and it was no problem. The food was simple German sausages, which we wanted and chose. It was good and a large amount of salad. We were able to relax and enjoy the meal... More
