The restaurant is located in the city center and it is a good place to stop by for a quick lunch or snack. There is a variety of local food available. International guests are welcome.

Everything was delicious. I had the breaded schnitzel and my friend had a sourkraut spatzle. No credit cards

Good service & food, but the noise level was way too low. I had the Rouladen (meat spike on the English menu) which was okay, but the cabbage that came with it was delicious. My husband's meal was good (pork & spatzle) as well. The restaurant itself, although crowded, was extremely quiet where we felt weird speaking to each other... More

Given English menus and treated like old friends. Ordered the turkey cutlet with herb butter. Came with French fries that were coked to perfection. Plenty of ketchup packets too. Also had mixed vegetables and they were very good too. So good we came back the next day and ordered it again. Would highly recommend this restaurant. Decent prices and big... More

The slow service and limited salad bar was less than a great way to start, but all was well when the entrees hit the table. Pork roast, sauerbraten, cordon blue, and trout were all excellent. Definitely offset the adequate, but sleepy service!

We took the salad buffet and were were given a small plate (about 6 euros) and we were allowed to fill our plate once. There are quite a few variety at the salad bar. We also ordered the pork knuckle which was alot of meat even for two of us. So thankful to eat dinner here on a Sunday after... More

We had dinner at the restaurant, and really enjoyed it! We ordered the venison goulash and the wild boar, both were excellent. Great flavours, very filling.

We called in for early dinner to get out of the rain. Good German food with English translation. Venison goulash was delicious and hubby had the wild boar which was also good. Service was a little slow but only one waiter on duty. Would have stayed for pudding but had to get back before car park ticket expired.

The name of the restaurant I'm reviewing is Schenke & Wirthaus inside the Hotel Zum Hechten at Ritterstrasse 6. We had the pike (Hecht) the first night and it was a fillet, pretty flavorful and cooked well. We came back the next day, and I had the Wienerschnitzel Classic (original with veal), and somehow they mangled it. I eat this... More
