Our TAUCK riverboat SAVOR arranged for a private gingerbread comparative tasting with multi-generational owner cooks. Delicious. Fun.

The baked goods are why you come here. The selection is large and diverse. Seating is crowded and not especially comfortable. Service was slow and not well organized. Prices are about average for a cafe. Coffee, tea and chocolate selections are pretty standard.

It doesn't look like much from the riverside, but you get some surprisingly good Strudel here. Coffee is good as well, all in all a nice place to have a break from sightseeing.

This was our second visit to a Cafe Simon. It's a great place to stop for coffee, and they have great pastries. It's also a good place to shop for cookies to take home as souvenirs. The first time we were here, it was in December during the Christmas Market season. We saw a gingerbread making demonstration, and were able... More

There is a rear terrace which is also comfortable. The only downside is that sometimes there are tour groups from the danube cruise ships who stream through the cafe with... More

Five of us called here on a Sunday morning only wanting coffee. This was no problem - the staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. The cakes looked superb - we are sure that they will have tasted just as good as they looked.

Staff was very friendly. They let us use the toliet before they knew we would buy anything. Cake and drinks were delicious. This cafe is also very clean. I will definitely come again.

The dessert where outstanding. We were there during Christmas time. The gingerbread cookies were outstanding. We were do excited to see the made springerles cookies. Not many places make them anymore! There were delicious, just like my grandma use to make.
