At my first day in Nurnberg I tried german food, so the next day I wanted something familiar and my hotel recommended me Ciao. It is not in the old city, so not that touristic. Not a big space and people as I understood mostly come for take away. The food was delicious. Price very affordable and portions big enough!... More

More an Italian restaurant than a pizza place, the food is not a pizza and pasta only, but you can have it too. The staff is friendly and makes jokes, the portions are good, prices are ok too. The decoration and overall feeling is that the restaurant will be more expensive than it really is. It's popular and reservations are... More

We come to Nuremberg for a trade show each year and usually eat in the touristy old town. This year, we decided to venture out a bit further and picked Ciao due to it's rating. It did not disappoint. Great menu, great food, great service. We will come back next year.

For the last 7 years, when we visited Nuernberg, our family met at Ciao. We love the place, the food, the service with a happy smile and the size of the bill at the end of an evening. If you are looking for amazing Italian food, you will be super happy. The thin crust pizza right from the brick oven... More

I visited late on a Wednesday with my mum and sister and enjoyed the most delicious Italian food I had in Europe - and that includes Italy! They served lovely Radler, Wine Spritzer and Aperol Spritz with flair! All the staff are very friendly and like to share a joke with the clientele - on my first visit I was... More

Tasty food, good family oriented Italien menu. The staff couldn't have been nicer and the brick oven pizza was amazing. Highly recommended.

Was there with some friends. Dined on the terrace. Food was real Italian. Pasta fresh , Pizza thin based and huge. Service sharp and " witty". All languages spoken... But mainly Italian... And the prices " superb".... A must if you visit this city.
