Reviewed yesterday NEW

I just stopped by for an Easter afternoon snack passing by after visiting the Easter market on the Main square. I recommend the Kellerbier (very tasteful local beer) and the herrings in cream sauce. Very good setup. Will stop by next time...

Typical classic Nuremberg restaurant. All specialties from the region are served, like Schäuferle, haxen and the famous Nürnberger Bratwürste. The food is quite ok, but you'll get at least the same quality for a lower price in many restaurants outside the city. The place is fun for guests from other countries, but this is definitely not a place to visit... More

Only go here if you are hungry. The food was fantastic and they gave big portions. The restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere and catered for children. A great choice of some nice beers.

Is a touristic place but after a full day walking around, you only want a warm place to recover your energies. I had the opportunity to go for the beef roulade with apfelblaukraut as a side this, all this with a huge weizen beer. The service is fast and the employees are very attentive. Is worth for a fast and... More

The place is huge and the staff was very friendly. The food was pretty good, but its more a place for tourists. The prices were pretty high.

We had some sort of meat covered in gravy. Oddly, this was our most favorited instagram pic of the entire trip, but probably the least flavorful meal we had. Not bad at all and lots of traditional dishes to try, but pretty bland.

I went with my mother and we had a set menu with starter and dessert, and a roast duck. The food was OK with some highlights (red cabbage, duck and apple fritters). The place, however was a little too touristy as I usually try to choose places for locals. All in all, an ok experience.

The worst of this type of local restaurants is the food. Greasy, heavy and pre-cooked. It's cantina type. Beef roll in 5 minutes? It's not even hot, but certainly dried inside (like plywood). For small sausages it's enough to try take away on the street. Beer not cold enough. Next time I will consider pizza.

This restaurant is right in the centre of Nuremberg, just north of the Hauptmarkt. It's a huge place; on the evening I visited it was quite busy but there were still plenty of spare tables. For me it stood out (in comparison to other places in the city) for the friendliness of the staff, they really made me feel welcome... More

Bratwurst Roslein is popular with locals and tourists alike. The menu is large with many options. The beer and wine list is satisfying. There is both inside and outside dining. One of my favorite dishes there is the Mixed Grill with four different types of meat. Side items include salads, potato dumplings, fried potatoes, cucumber salad, red cabbage and more.... More
