We were starving as it had been a long day with much walking so half a chicken with a generous portion of traditional potato salad did the trick! Others in our group sampled potatoes and other side dishes. The chicken is so good and the beer went down well. Not bad prices and a locals place; if you had no... More

While the mains don't look that expensive at first, it all adds up very quickly after adding a (small and disappointing) side salad and a glass of water. The waiters were extremely rude, dismissive and impatient once they realised we were English and did not help my friend who can't speak any German. The food was of a standard-low quality... More

We were a family group eating here - the lack of English menu made life a little difficult however the staff translated. I would advise booking since it was extremely full. The starters were average and only luke warm. The deserts were huge. The main courses were the best though - massive portions, and in all but 1 case very... More

Had a wonderful dinner experience here with great value food (had the pork knuckle) and great beer. Staff were really friendly and we had a lovely time!

Really good and friendly stuff. Good food and beer. What else do you really need for a great Friday night with your friends!

We had a traditional german dinner here. Great food with a beer. Staff was friendly. We had dinner in the covered area at street level, but there is an open air floor, which was of course very crowded. Would go again.

Went to this restaurant as we wanted to meet up with a friend. They only had a limited menu due to the proximity of the Oktoberfest but there was still plenty to choose from. My friend had the roast half chicken (which they are famous for) and said it was excellent. I had the salad with turkey strips which consisted... More

Four of us dropped in for a final nightcap after being at the Oktoberfest. Staff were very welcoming, they quickly found us a table in the window and made various recommendations for drinks. We had a great time. We didn't eat but the food being served to other tables looked absolutely delicious. Highly recommended.

We arrived with a pram and 8 month old baby. There was an old woman serving. She had the angriest face i've seen for a long while. She began by complaining about the position of the pram and our bags. Very unfriendly. Would never go there again.

Our Airbnb host recommended this place to us our first night in Munich and everything we ate after that didn't even compare. It was fun, well-priced and delicious. Not overly touristy but they do have a menu in English. Really recommend!
