A small cozy place during lunch time. Mainly only a set menu to choose from but with a good variety. There weren't too many people today and the chef took some special orders from us. Very friendly staff and very good food. The rice is delicious, difficult to find such well cooked rice in Germany. The sushi, miso soup, also... More

Located in a somewhat hidden location behind another japanese restaurant, it is a gem. We ordered sukiyaki, katsudon, tofu, unagi, tempura and all of them are spot on excellent. The challenge in the restaurant is the single server situation, so if you are late, it may feel a bit delayed. Having said that, the kitchen did a great job delivering... More

My wife and I have been travelling through Europe and despite being fond of meat, we were really craving something other than 'meat and potatoes' that seems to dominate European cuisine. We had originally intended to go to Toshi but we reconsidered when we saw the €180 Shabu Shabu on offer. Luckily for us Kitcho was just down the road!... More

AC was not working. The waitress barely speaks English! Food is average and the price is too high! I don't recommend it..

Looks like a used-to-be good traditional restaurant which now serves small portions for high prices. Miso soup was only warm, temaki barely filled with tuna fish, udon noodles had almost nothing in the soup apart from the noodles. Unfortunately a bad experience in Munich.

What a find! This place was so good we walked from one side of Munich to the other three days in a row... great flavours, very authentic and great value. The staff were warm and attentive. They should open another one on the other side of town, but I'd still walk across town in anycase, it really is a top... More

Next to the Kempinski Hotel, this small restaurant offers good food and good value for money. Service is friendly. Actually, it is the Japanese version of the German "Gutbuergerliche Kuechen". :-) Recommended.

this is one of my favorite Sushi places in Munich, local people always mix with some Japanese clients to enjoy authentic Sushi in this place, centrally located, close to a much more expensive Japanese eatery, you can never be wrong with Kitcho

Kitcho is a real find. Tasty, authentic and cozy for a great price. Recommended to us by some Japanese foreign exchange students who clearly knew their stuff. Excellent lunch destination.
