Lovely building and picturesque beer garden, but poor service and probably the most expensive beer in Munich. Think this is one to tick off on the tourist things to do, but no where near best beer garden in a Munich.

Went here our last night in Munich and it was amazing. Beer was great of course but the food was really wonderful. Service is friendly and efficient.
If you like traditional Bavarian food and beer then this is the place for you. As far as beer halls in Munich go this is one of the better ones. Really traditional, well laid out, good service and good food.

Last stop before going to bed at Lowenbrau for a beer but couldn't resist the speciality of the day: deer schnitzel. Delicious and went down perfectly well with the dunkel. The lady helping our table was lovely and very friendly. Just wanted to give her...More
After spending a full day in museums on a rainy Sunday, we went to Lowenbraukeller to have a late lunch and some drinks. We ordered the pork hock and the Leberkase loaf, and both are very yummy. Unlike the Hofbrauhaus, the tables are designed for...More
Visited for supper one rainy night after Oktoberfest had ended and had the best duck to date while in Munchen. Everything we ordered was delicious and the beer never disappoints. The food selection was wide and offered something for all who stopped. The atmosphere inside...More
