The service was very good, the place is nice and clean. And the food - yammy :) Worth the money. Loved it!

The breakfast here is wonderful, but the dinner wasn't anything outstanding. We ate here once, for dinner, during our stay and it was ok.... Yhere were other meals throughout our stay that we felt were better.

It was my last night in Munich, and I had just gotten off the train. I wanted to go someplace nice for my last dinner. I literally stumbled across Peter & Wolff. It was an amazing dinner and a great send off. The schnitzel was superb and made the real, old fashioned way (fried in butter)! You can't go wrong... More

Really enjoyed our meal here, the food was lovely, and enjoyed our Lillet aperitif! Staff had some personality, and forgave me for spilling red wine everywhere! Also saw part of the Canadian Security Conference delegation, so we were in good company!

There are plenty of hotels in this area offering B&B, and if you are staying locally, do give this restaurant a try - we did and went back again! You can get a half board package at the Eden Hotel Wolf as well. The reason we went back was the ethos of the food sourcing (explained in the menu), the... More

Nice service, broad menu but a bit pricey. The typical German fare was on offer. Not a lot of vegetarian options.

Just now we have had a dinner, which was the worst experience in Germany. All food was terrible - it arrived in 3 minutes after we have ordered [as you may imagine, so much it took to make it warm in microwave]. We were 4 people and nobody after tasting could eat more. Avoid it if you can.

You don't have to go far from your room to find good food, good service and a wonderful and helpful staff. You can get all the traditional meals right here and a large selection of other eats. Nice wine list with area wines plus! A good way to end the evening and feel at home!

We went here as a result of tripadvisor reviews. It's very expensive compared to other similar restaurants. The food is fine but nothing special. There is no atmosphere whatsoever and we were glad to finish our meal and move on.

We had an evening meal here as we were staying in the Eden Wild hotel next door. It has an alpine feel to the decor with wooden cladding. Our meal was very nice and it was local fayre. I had sausages and my wife had the duck.

Thank Dazzr

This restaurant opposite the “Centralstation” has always been a part of the Eden Hotel Wolff since its foundation in 1890 by Carl O. Wolff, a salesman from Plauen. The hotel as well as the beautiful dining area in Art Nouveau soon became a fancied venue for the elegant Munich society. Unfortunately massive bombing of the area around the central station during the last months of the Second World War caused serious damage to the hotel and restaurant. Thankfully the restaurant was able to reopen in 1948; the hotel followed in the year 1950 in connection with the Oberammergau Passion Play.

The origin of the former name “Zirbelstube” was due to the use of arolla pine which can still be found in the restaurant giving it its cosy atmosphere as it remains in its natural colour shade. The “Tonne”, an arch-styled side room of the restaurant adapts the well known Bavarian down-to-earth mentality with its classic interior.
In the back of our restaurant you will find the “Rembrandt Room”. It is the only part of the hotel which survived the chaos of the Second World War without damage whatsoever and displays the exact same beauty as it did in the founding year of 1890.
The “Rembrandt Room” offers the perfect and dignified surrounding for any family festivity or important business meeting under the eyes of the noblemen portrayed.
The highest priority is the quality of the food. That applies to the product itself as well as to the preparation. A high value is set on using seasonal products which are cooked with lots of creativity and craftsmanship. Wherever possible it is the kitchen's aim to use regional products as personal contact to farmers and suppliers are cultivated. The daily preparation, in combination with first class products, guarantees the highest quality possible. The increasing proportion of the meat on the menu is obtained from calves and cattle raised naturally in regions near Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm.
