A solid restaurant with a small dining area and vegetarian options. The waiter speaks English and is very attentive. Food was delicious and portions are quite big.

Just near the Bus stop, this quaint place is a very nice place to relax after you come trekking down from Neuschwanstein Castle. This family run place is good with bavarian specialities. Scnitzel or spitzle or the most favoured Apple Strubel in Vanilla Sauce.

Food is fair if you enjoy basic German food. The staff is what makes the place that much more enjoyable. They serve beer, wine, coffee, and deserts as well. The place is kids friendly and decently priced for the portions. Not too much to say about this place other than...thank you for the service and food! All in all...I would... More

We stopped here for lunch prior to our castle tours. The food was average and nothing special. We both had the Wiener Schnitzel. The main issue we had was the horrendously slow wait staff. As this is a seat yourself restaurant, you just walk in and pick a seat. Our waiter, the only one on staff for lunch, took the... More

Popped in to get out of the cold. Shared a table with some others which is normal in Germany. We only had some drinks and cake which was really nice. The did appear to be doing a good trade in full meals also. Not too expensive considering it's a tourist town. Sitting at the window is nice to watch the... More

Ironically, we loved the food while we were eating it, but a day after eating here, my husband got violently ill. He ended up being sick for 36+ hours and couldn't even get out of bed - worse than any other sickness he's ever had. It was a very, very sad way for us to end our long-awaited Europe trip.... More

After trekking up and down the hill to Neuschwanstein we'd built an appetite for both a good lunch and a warm place to sit. The service was quick and friendly, the restaurant was buzzing, and the food was incredible. I had the pork steak with country potatoes. Succulent and tasty pork and the gravy that my potatoes were swimming in... More
