I have come here regularly with family when doing one of the attraction in the area (Partnachklamm, flying fox, tobaggoning). You get the typical food for the area including options for kids and vegetarians. The cake and tart selection is very good. The service though can be a bit unfriendly at times, though. Nothing wrong, though when passing by.

It seemed like a good place to warm up on a cold wet Sunday afternoon with bowls of hot soup. The asparagus and potato soups were delicious but it took the best part of ONE HOUR to ladle out and serve our order. So much for German efficiency and dread to think what the delay would be if outside terrace... More

We stopped in for a snack before our tour of the ski stadium. We had pretzels and beer - best pretzels we had on our trip! Wish we could have come for breakfast, the sausage, pretzel and beer combo looked great!

Stopped off here on the way back from Partnach Gorge and had a burger. Was well priced and tasty. They also served good beer, but where in Bavaria doesn't?! Will happily pop in again if I'm in the same part of the world.

After eddie the eagle, had to come and see where it all started, and we were not disappointed . After walking up what he flew down you realise how steep it is and how brave or stupid he was. Come and visit here to see where a piece of sporting history began, Eddie the eagle,

We stopped at this restaurant while visiting the site of the 1936 Winter Olympic Ski Jump. Originally we were just looking for a hot cider or hot chocolate. We ended up eating red cabbage, a bowl of hearty potato soup and a delicious apple pie dessert that two could easily share. The restaurant was busy and the smells were amazing.... More

The menu is pretty much limitless when it comes to food that'll warm you up in the German Alps. I highly recommend the apple streudel served with vanilla ice cream. I highly recommend visiting here while checking out the Olympic stadium and the ski jumps.

We had just walked up to through and back from the gorge and wanted a small snack before catching the bus back to our hotel. It was a gorgeous day out and decided to sit outside. There was only one hostess serving everyone inside and out, I have no idea how she did it but she was super efficient and... More

We were just here for beer on tap and pretzels. Service was great. The food others were eating looked excellent and our pretzels were better than average.
