Loved the tapas and breakfast. Try the herb grilled mushroom, coffees and oven baked potatoes with minced beef. Service is friendly and you also have good breakfast options

Tasty dinner at Binokel, sitting out under the trees on a warm summer evening. We had some lovely wine, then a fruit flavored Weizen beer (I didn't like it, he did). Dinner was a very tasty Bratwurst, which came with potatoes, of course. However, as...More
We visited on three occasions during our week in Mannheim. On each visit we were welcomed warmly by staff whose grasp of English far exceeded our rudimentary German. The food is excellent and very reasonably priced, and the drinks too are no more expensive than...More

Just around the corner from our hotel, Bistro Binokel is located in central Mannheim, a short walk away from the high street. Large drinks menu on offer, with drinks being resonably priced. The food selection is also good and we very much enjoyed our selection...More

Also have very good Flammkuchen, different types. Menu itself is not too big so that it is a good place to stop when you not in the mood for something special or much. Location downtown but still very nice to sit outside. Service very nice.
We had the flammkuchen and the Palatinate something. Both were very good. The apple strudel was the best ever and the waiter also chose us a nice beer. I highly recommend this place.
it was expensive. the place was very nice though! The tapas were not like the tapas i know, we orderd 2 and one was just cheese and the other just tomato! and we paid almost 10e each!
