I went with my girlfriend, and they allocated us in a table in the middle of the small restaurant, it was ok, but when I asked if we could sit down in another table sharing with two people, they said that the table was booked at certain time, afterwards we realized it was not true. After asking what wine they... More

Absolutely amazing food. Anything on the menu is worth trying. The pepper steak and the swaiban casserole are great choices! Wonderful service and great down home atmosphere.

Everything about this place was cool and fun! Our party of five managed to squeeze into their family style seating. The waiter was fun and inviting, the atmosphere was warm and alluring. Not to mention the food was spectacular. I recommend the schnitzel (it is in fact the SCHNITZELbank) and their stuffed pasta. The potatoes are absolutely amazing. One note... More

My wife asked the waitress to recommend something and she was very happy with the outcome. The schnitzels were great and the service also.

The Schnitzel was phenomenal and the portions were generous, The atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for in... More

This place has nice but didn't quite like their location as it not in the Main Street where the hustle bustle is!! I went for lunch here and ordered schnitzelbank platter.. It was good.. The only disappointment was the location..

One of the insiders' tips of Heidelberg is this small old restaurant where friendly English speaking service will light up your stay with typical German food and white wine from the barrel. Call them to make a reservation, it is only a small place but definitely worth it!

If you're Heidelberg or anywhere near, make sure to dinner here! A small and cosy venue, few tables, perfect service and spectacular food! Had the Cordon Bleu schnitzel and it was an amazing experience!!!! Wish i could rate it 10 stars!
