100 different kinds of schnitzel, every variety you can think of and a lot more that would never occur to you. The waitresses are fast and efficient and patient with English speakers. Food is delicious. Warning: they only take cash, not credit cards, so make sure to bring euros with you!

We just asked for an extra plate as we got a surprise birthday cake for a friend after the huge dinner and drinks that we ordered. The waitress was so damn rude on such a small thing! A simple "no"...or "sorry we dont do this here" would have been completely fine! But she was so rude as if we committed... More

I don't like making bad ratings since it could always be some kind of wrong impression I had. But this restaurant has shown me how rude staff can be. Sorry, but things need to be told. I live in a nearby town and it was my first time at Schnitzelhaus Alte Münz. On Friday, I called and booked a table... More

Came in and was greeted with a smile. The waitress was polite enough to ask if I wanted the English and German menu; and of course, like a real tourist, I went for the former. On the menu is 100!!! choices of schnitzel, one to suit every taste I'm sure. I went for the 'Heidelberg' schnitzel and it came out... More

We've eaten here 6-8 times with small and medium-sized groups, and never had a bad experience. I like schnitzel, but sometimes tire of the normal 3-4 options most German restaurants provide. Obviously, that is not an issue at a place also known as "House of 100 Schnitzels." I've yet to try a schnitzel there that I haven't thoroughly enjoyed, and... More

You can really only come here expecting to eat one thing and man, do they know how to make it! Very nice quaint and cozy restaurant serving up the best of German schnitzel and beer. They actually offer up to 100 varieties of toppings ranging from simple gravy, cheeses and veggies (even a chocolate sauce!). Service was efficient & friendly... More

Our family of four had a lovely dinner here in August. We sat on their large terrace which runs parallel to the Nektar River. The river breeze was perfect on a summer evening! It seems like a well run family owned restaurant and it was quite crowded. They have about 100 different types of schnitzel here. Started with complimentary salads... More

Food is good. The variation if Schnitzel is great and I guess everybody will find something. For a so called Schnitzelhaus it is a pity that they don't serve veal, only pork and turkey meat. Food could be more spicy. Staff was incredibly unfriendly. I have never experienced something like that in my life. Very sad. I have bern there... More
