the service was warm and friendly and we were served quickly during our visit We had raclet which was lovely, Though I would say it gets very stuffy inside the restaurant and if you've overdosed on cheese it's not hugely pleasant The veal was very nice as well

We wanted to sample a typical offering g of the region. An informal dining venue with a heritage of serving fondue, raclette and typical offerings of the Savior area. Lively and warm. I was here about 8 years ago and I must admit that nothing has changed. Delivered.

Everything was really expensive. Fondu was £30 per person and my tartaflette was £27. Need deep pockets and came away feeling a bit ripped off. Food tasted good though

We were a party of 7 and booked luckily or we might not have got in as this is a very popular place. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the service was great. Some of our group had the house casseroles and others traditional raclette or steak and duck. Everything was well made and the desserts were also... More

Went here based on local and Trip Advisor ratings. You can book either early (19:00) or late sitting (21:30). The interior is very rustic and charming. We were seated and promptly given menus and drinks order taken. We had Savoyarde sausage and bread as an appetiser (needed something pickled to accompany) and then all had the signature casseroles, which come... More

We went to La Casserole on spec and although they were very busy they squeezed us in and were very welcoming. The restaurant serves traditional savoie food of fondue, raclette and casserole. It is very lively with lots of big family groups, warm service and hearty food. I had a casserole of diots (a local pork sausage) and my wife... More

Unfortunately we didn't book which is a must-however we did mange to get a table after a while! The place was packed and the fondue was amazing! The service was great and the best... More

Hadn´ t booked table in advance but I and my friend got a place in the bar. Very busy and popular restaurant. Traditional savoyard food in large portions. Very tasty and you´ll get full! Book in advance to be sure to get a table.

I've learned from previous visits that I can't manage a starter and main here. I ordered the beef casserole, it's very large for one, but tasty. The beef is perfectly cooked with a beautiful gravy. I used the bread basket to mop up the gravy from my plate, just yummy. A consistently good restaurant with very friendly and efficient staff.... More
