This is a very popular place for ice cream and for good reason: it is excellent. If you are adventurous and wish to try exotic flavours, you will enjoy this establishment. I chose a cone with tomato and basil flavored ice cream, along with a scoop of cassis de bourgogne flavour. It was fantastic. It is very popular and busy... More

The ice cream is undoubtably good. I purchased my ice cream, and took my seat on the otherwise empty terrace. The owner was really aggressive and unnecessarily rude, told me to leave, and that ice creams cost twice as much if I wanted to sit down. Having just paid 7 euros for an ice cream, I wasn't going to give... More

No surprise there is always a queue at this ice creamery - they offer 150 flavours, most of which are very creative, unusual and delicious (we tried the goat's cheese, violet, ginger and lime with basil!) A majority of them are also organic. They also sell take-home pints. Price-wise it may seem a little steep (we paid 8,10€ for 4... More

We visited the place on our visit to Lyon's old town. We passed by and we saw so many people and so many flavors so we decided to check it. We chose seven different flavors but we couldn't finish even one. The ice cream was not tasty. Too much perfume, too much sugar or acidity . Strange.

really lovely ice creams and sorbets, all with a 'bio' or organic base. In the heart of the old town, really worth a visit.

I tried caramel with salted butter , peach sorbet, châtaigne and basilic lemon. They are all good and it's worth a try. I much prefer Haagen daz

Those of us who love ice cream always search out the best artisanal gelato places whenever traveling. Terre Adelice takes it to another level, with a menu of nearly 100 flavours as thick as most wine menus, that will overwhelm you with choice. Everything is clearly labelled and half of the flavours are organic. Their outdoor patio is located in... More

The selection of flavours are so huge you'll probably need some time to decide. Had the Rose with crystals, citron with mint (real bits of mint leaves!) and the mint with (chunky) choc chips. The rose flavoured one is my new fave and it just blew my tastebuds away! Very soothing and aromatic and then you get to bite through... More

It isn't hard to miss because of the extensive menu, which is detailed in English and French. They also offer free samples and the variety includes our standard fare, as well as some local themed flavors.
