I have to say their meringues and cream is the boom. the long queue totally worth it.
i tried another Aux Merveilluex in Brussells but it was not as fresh but this one in Lyon is really great. I see people only comment on their meringues and cream but trust me, you have to try their plain bread with sugar and eat it when it is hot.

You are welcomed by a wonderful smell of freshly made pastries.. they are not only pretty but delicious as well. The staff is friendly and helpful. And extremely efficient. The line moves fast. You don’t have to wait long to start eating the rewards.
This is a must visit food heaven if you are in Leon. I love the merengues. And all of that at bargain prices.

We only saw this because of the line up out the door and down the street so we went back the next day and so glad we did ~ Amazing little treats , we tried all flavours and put the Caramel one and praline & nut one at the top of the list of our favourites. To die for and just melts in the mouth

I wanted to buy their Merveilleux for my daughter to bring back to the US. When I went to the store, I was greeted by a polite English speaking clerk who informed me that the fancy boxes were extra, which was OK with me, but the Merveilleux should be refrigerated immediately. I was disappointed that I can't take them with me. However, I found they have sweet smelled bread which I bought 1 for each type to bring back. There were one of the best sweetbreads I have ever had. I hope to bring back my family to try their Merveilleux soon.

Initially we were drawn to this shop by the sight of people making the Merveilleux in the shop windows. We decided to buy some small ones to try back in our hotel room. Wow were we amazed. The meringue and cream just gently melted in our mouths. The Cherry flavour was my favourite.

No too sweet not too rich. Just right little bit size deserts. The chocolate could have been a bit richer in taste. Some dark chocolate that is more present would be nice.

Delicious meringues topped with cream and coming in numerous flavours and sizes. A beautiful shop with lots of workers making those sweets in front of you. Always a line, but fast and nice service.

This shop has always long waiting lines...because their Merveilleux are just fantastic, they offer them in various ways (chocolate, coffe, etc), all are delicious! Friendly and efficient staff.

Aux Marveilleux De Fred’s Cramique au Chocolat is marvelous beyond imagination, although my hotel offers free breakfast but I had it hot for 3 days in a raw and it was amazing every time
