First dined here a year ago and returned with our wives. They selected the veal off the a la crate and we're very pleased but it was a lot of meat. I had the traditional lyonnaise set menu and again thoroughly enjoyed myself. The salads gave a full pork experience with the snout being very tasty. My wife sampled and... More

Almost like a bad joke, the waitress was very rude and very arrogant, we felt very unwelcome and decided to leave

Delightful bouchon with friendly service, delicious, simple food and large portions. The perfect place for a Lyon lunch.

We were told they were full when they saw we were not locals. Another couple got after us without a reservation and they got a table.

A traditional French restaurant with an most interesting menu, nothing goes to waste in this restaurant. The Frogs legs were an absolute highlight, plentiful and amazingly cooked, moist and full of flavour. A must visit if you want to experience true French cooking!

The restaurant is over 100 years old and offers an authentic dining experience in Lyon. The method of cooking was inspired by the servants who cooked for the Bourgeois, they used the entire animal and off cuts, making the best of what they could with what they had. You can eat things like Smoked Herring Fillets, Calfs Head Stew and... More

Recommend booking and serves in two sittings (certainly on Saturday, 1915 & 2115), lots of people disappointed as no room at the inn. Staff extremely helpful and a wonderful setting. A group of five and three went for a four corse fixed and others a la carte. The traditional Lyonaisse starter was excellent and served unusually in that large bowls... More

An authentic Lyon bouchon. Cuisine is standard bouchon fare, simple but fresh and perfectly prepared. The wait staff was friendly and very helpful. A very good value in typical Lyonaise cuisine. Go for it!

Brilliant service. A variety of traditional foods prepared perfectly. Small but good selection of local wines. Excellent atmosphere. Friendly and very helpful staff. Would definitely return here.
