A good place to stop for a drink or lunch, always busy and staff are helpful and friendly. Found the lunchtime menu a bit limited compared to some other mountain restaurants but that doesn't seem to affect its popularity.

The other reviews say it all. Sunny terraces, super service (friendly and really fast), as good for coffee as lunch, great food and good value. The location at the top of the Ariondaz bubble is easy to get to, and well worth it.

Lovely restaurant with great food. The salads are super, particularly the lentil one. Good value for a mountain lunch.

The owner is a very friendly host and will do all he can to find you a table if you turn up on the spur of the moment. Food excellent, hearty portions and reasonably priced if you take into account that you are on the slopes and not in a budget chain restaurant! I had the tartiflette which was just... More

While skiing in the Courchevel part of 3 vallees we stopped without prior research by chance at the Bel Air. It is an example of a well managed restaurant with impeccable service. Indeed packed at 12:00 but the boss will find you a nice table (which we had to vacate at 13:30 but this was no problem). Worthy of 5... More

Cries of "Bonjour!" greet you as you enter the Bel Air. A much frequented stop en route back down to 1650 on our recent holiday. Having surveyed many vin chauds in the area, we believe the Bel Air was the best! Also has a snack bar downstairs offering sandwiches, hot dogs and chips as an alternative to the more pricey... We try to go every year as the restaurant is a delight. We are always warmly welcomed by the owner and the food is of the highest standard. The location is stunning at the heart of the 1650 ski area, the view is great, service excellent as is the food. It is one of the best mountain restaurants I have... More

The restaurant's lunch menu is fairly expensive (22Euro for a tartiflet) but the food and the service are good and on a sunny day the terrace is a delightful venue to sit and watch the skiers on the mountain.
