A great little find and they took us in with no booking on a Friday night! We had a massive feast out Beef and Cheese 🧀 Fondue, Entrecôte Steak and Steak Burgers 🍔. We will certainly be returning for another great evening!

Pas?! I've never had this word spat at us so often during a restaurant visit, or quite frankly, ever! The food was great; raclette, meat skewers, pierrade (cooking meat on a hot stone) and the children's menu was fairly standard child friendly fare. All good. Portion sizes were large. The waitress who showed us to our table and took our... More

Very busy restaurant, lovely and buzzy! If you want a really good rustic and authentic alpine dining experience Le Caveau is certainly a winner, took a lil whole to get a table but while we waited I was taking the place in, so many lovely lil touches, the decor is old school, dotted with cowbells and old skis among other... Great traditional French restaurant, portions are very generous and there is a fantastic choice, the quality of the meats etc to dip in fondue were lovely and fresh. My only complaint was that for all the choices the majority were for a minimum of two, so if like me you went with my wife it limits your options.

This is a very nice and quaint restaurant in 1550 Courchevelle. We ordered a delicious salad and a beer Pierrade. If you haven't had a Pierrade, you should try one. A hot stone is brought to your table and you cook your meat. The meat was tender and the accompanying sauces excellent. The meal also included a salad and frites.... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by our hotel and we were not disappointed. The restaurant itself was nice, the atmosphere was a little lacking although that may have been because we were in a corner and it was not that busy. Having said that, the food was excellent. We ordered a €28 bottle of wine which was probably slightly... More

Popped into this restaurant twice this week. Only place in 1550 heaving all the time. Amazing French restaurant, fabulous fondue, wonderful service, great atmosphere for groups, family's or couples.

A return trip to Caveau - it's our usual haunt on New Years Eve and is really something to look forward to. This is such a comfortable well run restaurant always serving great food. Christian and his team have it nailed - so much so that he's been asked to try and restore the food and drink offer at the... More

We enjoyed trying new foods...loved the fondue and the raclette. We had the escargot appetizer every time we went here. It is the best I have ever had!!

The restaurant was able accommodate a large party of dinner. This is a restaurant for fondues and raclettes although other choices are possible- e.g. steaks. The service was efficient and helpful. It's not a bargain but not unreasonably priced either. For drinks, fondues and tip expect to pay about €40 per person.
