Ordered Fondue. Expecting it to be strong.. but it has a rather sweeter and mild taste. We also order the beef steak which was rather good taste. Restuarant was patient to let us sit and talk until they close. Had blueberry tarts for desserts which was delicious too.

My wife and I visited this restaurant in July 2016 for lunch. We both had a fried fish option (with me opting for the local fish) and the meals were decent, but not great. The staff was helpful, but given another opportunity, we'd select a different place to try. The restaurant does offer outside seating, which is a big plus... More

Stopped here a couple of times for breakfast. Delicious omelettes, a very substantial "a l'anglais" with bacon, scrambled eggs and a mountain of French fries - not the healthiest breakfast option, but set us up for the day! And a decent sized "grand cafe" - a rarity in these parts...!

We had supper at le ramoneur Savoyard last night. We got there early and were seated without any problems, although it got busier as the evening went on. We had two set menus which were definitely the best value. Everything was very tasty, with lots of regional specialities. Beware though that the fried fish and chips is not what you... More

After several days in France some of our group were looking for a more substantial meal to start our day. We found it here. Finally, eggs with something like bacon, french fries and a salad. Juice and coffee topped it off. We were treated to good service and a nice table outside. We happily returned for our last "Petit Dejeuner"... More

On the edge of Old Town. Two of us shared a delicious tartiflette and turrine of the day for dinner. We enjoyed it enough to return for Sunday lunch and were lucky to get a seat because the place was packed. We had a nice lunch with salad and good local sausages. (The name of the farmer who provided the... More

Had breakfast here two days in a row. Moorish Croque Monsieur, pancakes great for kids. Set menu comes with hot drink and juice. The blueberry tarts looked amazing..... Recommended for breakfast or afternoon coffee and cake.

A good value brasserie type restaurant which is big on local produce. Well patronised even on a cold winter night. Good service and rather nice Veyrat beer.

We chose the plat de jour as it looked like a good deal. €12 for trout with rice and vegetables. We were lead to understand that the price included desert as well which we thought was very reasonable. However, the vegetables, rice, and fish were all over cooked and bland. The couple at the next table dint have condiments so... More

I was here with friends for a early Sunday breakfast. Warm environment, nice assortment. We had French baguette with butter and jam, blueberries pancakes, freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee. Nice place. Reasonably priced. Recommended.
