Had to have fresh fish and it didn't disappoint. Cooked to perfection Lemon tart too was so lemony. Service was more than you could ask for. 10/10 from me. Maybe a bit pricey but I am on holiday and great to have a canal view

Our first night we wandered around Annecy looking for a restaurant with an outside area with views of the water. We came across Le Petit Chalet and there was a free table. So decided to try it. Service was efficient. We chose a cheese fondue for 2 and a bottle of local red wine recommended by waiter. The cheese fondue... More

...but worth the experience. Excellent appetisers and main courses. Aim for the daily or nightly specials as they offer a great selection for the value. The restaurant offers a rustic feel, cozy feeling and Chalet experience. Will return for winter. Small selection of wines for a French restaurant.

Stunning interior of a authentic wooden chalet the food was amazing. Compared to the many other tourist geared restaurants this place has been the best for quality and taste so far. Recommend.

This was the last evening of our holiday so as a treat decided to spend a little more on eats at a canal restaurant. We couldn't have been more disappointed. The waiting staff were surly, inattentive & inefficient at best. Despite the restaurant not being overly busy & we being a small group of three we waited well over an... More

We were recommended this place by the hotel concierge. Probably made a mistake in ordering the set menu but the career salad was not a true caeser salad and the burger was 'tres ordinaire'. Atmosphere was good and had a table outside overlooking the canal. The best part of the meal was the creme brûlée.

Le Petit Chalet. Again by canal. Nice setting. I had chateaubriand and my wife Pork rib with no rib. It was ok but mine a little tough. We had fromage to finish. Had a champagne 2 coupe Laurent Perrier, and bottle of red - I asked which red most robust. He pointed to the expensive one and I ordered Mondeuse... More

Visited le Chalet for dinner tonight. Great location besides the canal but service was absolutely disgusting with no customer service skills from staff nor manager. Overpriced meals were extremely dissapointing. To be avoided at all costs.

Saturday evening and the place was busy. The girl looking after our table of five did a great job. Had the plat du jour (salad, risotto, and creme brulee). Good honest fare. 28 euro each plus wine and beer
