After some disappointing dinners at recommended restaurants we decided to walk around on our way back from Notre Dame. This was the first pick judged by the exterior with chalk written menus and a pleasant interior. A large group of locals greeted us, which is always a good sign. The food recommendations and wine was amazing. And looking at the... More

If you are looking for French food at top quality and competitive price, with additionally a great bistro ambiance, top service done by the owners, and last but not least very good wine, that's the place. Don't miss it!

Fine dining in a bistrot. Food and wine very good. Despite it being very crowded the manager did not mind us only having starters and my friend just having a glass of water. not cheap, but much better value than the obvious tourist traps nearby, and we were allowed to linger ages after closing time. thank you

Le Bistrot a Vin is a quite good restaurant with a good kitchen and a very familiar and approachable environment. A new insight into the Provençal food's tradition at an affordable price within the centre of Marseille.

We visited this restaurant with friends. I had a starter followed by steak and a desert. The starter was tapenade on toast with lettuce which was very mediocre. The steak was almost inedible and came covered in rocket and cheese. I left most of it. For desert I ordered fruit with tatin sauce. This comprised finely chopped apple with the... More

Very French feeling and atmosphere. Not bad but actually not really great food, at least not the meat. Happy staff though

The meal started well with an excellent selection of corsican charcuterie, but the main course was really disappointing - i gave up trying to eat the steak as it was too tough, and not particularly flavoursome. The accompanying vegetables were overcooked and very greasy. The patron didn't bother to ask why I'd not eaten my meal - that is a... More
