Small restaurant, very frienly atmosphere, I made a reservation online a few hours in advance. We enjoyed the meal despite being very very tired after a long trip. Everything was fresh and delicious without being overdone. The plates (main curses) are very generous, it was probably the first time in Europe I couldn't finish the dish.

This was our last night of a week in Marseille and was a great choice. Lovely ambience in a small cost restaurant and deliciously flavoured food with a provencale theme. Good value compared to the more touristy places in vieux port, good wine and complimentary coffee and flavoured rum. Highly recommended

Wonderful owners and a passionate chef. Very friendly. We had several house specialties, and the ravioli was loved by the children 9 and 11. Make a reservation in advance for an outside table , but we enjoyed sitting inside as a walk in. It was home style authentic cuisine. I liked the Allouette more than the Entrecôte but my husband... It was a delicious dinner with a very nice service. There are only a few tables outside so it might be wise to reserve. Be aware that it is a small local restaurant. Everything we ate was full of Flavour! Full of life! The menu du jour was excellent (might be too much for an average woman, but my husband... More

We tried this place as it was close to our accommodation and we're not disappointed. The mains were delicious and the desserts were pretty good as well! Stick with the seafood and you'll be very happy!

We stumbled upon this little gem on our firs night in Marseille. The starters were great and the Alouettes were absolutely lovely. We had the feeling we were guests in someone's home, and it was absolutely lovely. Servers were great and social, and we all communicated in a language of smiles, laughs and occasional shared words. It was a wonderful... More

It was open when other restaurants were not. The staff welcomed us and gave us really good customer service. And the food, what more can I say, absolutely gourmet. Reasonably priced, beautifully presented, and tasted like a home cooked meal. You must try this place, small, quaint and worth it. Thank you so much for a lovely night, will tell... More

This small rustic restaurant offers good French home cooking. We ordered roast rabbit and grilled sea bass - both were well-cooked and came with a nice selection of accompanying veg including courgette frittata and potato dauphinoise. Dessert of iles flottantes was a great end to the meal. Service was friendly and prompt, and the complimentary tapenade crostini to start and... More

Roti Lapin - delish. I stumbled upon this little gem when it was closed and went back shortly before 7. They weren't open, yet. At 7PM I was in the door and seated. the only diner, at the time, I started with Pastis. When dining in Provence, you really must start your meal with Pastis. This is a charming spot,... More

Had a truly wonderful meal.A proper French restaurant. My starter alone was a WOW moment, then the Larks Heads (Beef really!) Suburb. We watched as the chef showed a couple the fish she was about to cook so they could I think choose some, for their bouillabaisse. She then came out and served them personally. Lovely staff Great food and keen... More
