Had lunch There, the price for the place , the starter , the main course and part of the service are justified . They also got a good wine list well priced . They dealt with my allergy really well . The big Downside is the dessert . Far to match the quality of the precedent courses . Service is... More

Upon my arrival in Marseille in 2013 this was actually the first restaurant I eat at in this city, the food was great and the place itself is exceptional, you can feel the history all around. I had lunch there again last week and the experience was all the same. Will be back.

Exceptional place, very unique and artistic. The food was special. I am unable to understand why the poor reviews but each to their own reason. The restaurant isn't that expensive relative to the offering. I enjoyed a very good meal with very friendly service there.

Set 100 metres away from the bustling marina in the centre of town , this restaurant was originally I understand a library. Hence the interior decoration of shelves full of books. The welcome and service we received was excellent . Both professional and friendly. The best food were the classic french dishes. i.e. The excellent Bouillabaisse followed by the fish... More

This traditional French restaurant is located near the Vieux Port in Marseille. We went here for their special six course New Year's Eve Dinner Menu which looked promising. The place was packed with an older crowd as we were seated in the dining section in the library. It's hard to believe that I had to request our welcome champagne drink... More

Right in the heart of marseille old harbor, this is a very old building and dining rooms full of charm. We decided to have for all a bouillabaisse fish soup specialty of Marseille... and this one was very generous with a mix of very tasty fish ... one of the best fish soup I ever had! Service is very efficient... More

This was recommended to us and it was really interesting and great quality. It's in a really ancient building surrounded by antique books and accessed through a gift shop. It feels different. The food is local with a bias to fish and with biggish portions. It really is of high quality and delicious and a great place to taste the... More

We,20 people, pre-reserved months ahead expecting a good Bouillabaisse in Marseille. Started with Ratatouille on toast, like left over pasted on the toast. Followed by the famous Bouillabaisse: 3 small pieces of boiled fish plus 2 moules in a really tasteless soup. (no other sea food such as shrimp, etc). The owner may think that we, S.E. Asian, may not... More

The restaurant deserves 5 stars for special ambience, but neither the service nor the food measured up to expectations after reading other reviews. Service was slow and my main dish was a disappointment, I had ordered cod and it was not warm when it was finally served. The white wine selection by the glass was surprisingly limited.

We visited with a group of friends here for lunch and had the signature authentic fish soup with dessert. The venue was relaxing and the soup the best.
