We had traveled from Yorkshire and hadn't eaten all day, didn't know exactly what we wanted but it had to be nice. Not even sure why we chose this place but so pleased that we did! It's a fixed four course menu, apparently exactly the same one since the owner opened Le Maschou back in 1963. That tells you everything... More
The three of us went to Le Maschou upon a recommendation from our hotel, and we were so happy we did! The food was incredible - great presentations, flavours, and great wine recommendations! The interior is cozy and romantic, the services we found to be great, and culinarily-speaking, it was fantastic! I would highly recommend it! We ate the chicken,... More
Went there for dinner, the place is cozy, with a very nice atmosphere and the staff is super friendly. You will think it is a bit small, but just wait for the food and enjoy. The Grand Panier de Crudités is stunning, just grab whatever you wish and do your own salad. The Cote de Boeuf and the Carre d’Agneau... More
If you can only eat in one place on Rue Saint Antoine this is IT. The place is small and romantic The menu is pre fixe at 49euros. A bit high you may think but there is an abundance of good food. You choose from steak, chicken or fish. Just after you are seated you are presented with a basket... More
This restaurant feels old world and charming. The food tasted delicious and the veggie basket was a work of art. Definitely a place to put on your food list if you're in Cannes!
We visited Maschou the other day and it is probably one of the worst restaurant experiences we've ever had. The food served is mediocre. The ham comes from a bag and melon is tough. The meat was very very tough and hard to chew. You sit close, very close, in fact so close that you can only get out if... More
Reasonably tasty grilled meat marred by otherwise substandard experience. Where to start? Horribly uncomfortable, swelteringly hot room with a table that divided our party by creating an aisle down the middle for waiters to access their bar. Had to basically yell to hear each other. Horribly inefficient service with long waits throughout. No real menu options other than choosing grilled... More
Personally I love this restaurant and have been coming with my family for years, the ambiance is amazing very romantic. There is always a fixed menu consisting of 4 courses where you get to choose only the meat you want grilled and the dessert, the vegetables at the beginning are amazing. Overall if you come to Cannes you must go... More
Amazing beef and chicken because they only serve this .to be honest so tasty ..but the place is to small and a bit hot in summer...the bread with the garlic yoghurt are to die for ...staff some are rude some are nice they need to improve it a bit...over all good food.
